James and Zara met at a little outdoor gym during the Covid pandemic. Like everyone, they were trying to stay in shape during the lockdown. Zara was training the Olympic lifts and James was working hard on his bodybuilding. James would come in and workout with his best friend from college and Zara would train with her big pink headphones on. It would be months before the two would ever cross paths. When they did however, they became fast friends.

It wasn't long before they had their first date at Mint Thai food in Downtown Saratoga. Over the years, they have shared a love for travel, golf, relaxing on the beach, going to Church together, and fine dining!

On Christmas morning of 2023, James got down on one knee in front of the Christmas tree and asked Zara to be his best friend forever and she said, "Yes!"

They are so excited to celebrate their marriage with friends and family at one of their most favorite places to vacation!
